Detailed Immune Marker Typing, Class I And II

Vermont rates for HCPCS 81378

This genetic test identifies a person's specific immune-system marker genes across both the Class I and Class II groups together, at a highly detailed level of resolution. These markers play an important role in how the immune system recognizes foreign material, and precise matching of them between a donor and recipient is especially important for bone marrow and stem cell transplants. The detailed level of testing allows for more precise matching than a basic-level test.
