Our mission
We founded Tynbil (def: transparency in billing) to shed light on the arcane and inefficient healthcare pricing system. We believe that everyone is better off in a more transparent, equitable system where prices can reflect the true value of care delivered, not just negotiating prowess.
The transparency in coverage rule and the subsequent release of massive amounts of pricing information was the first step. We are committed to the long term goal of aligning everyone's (payers, providers, patients, employers, government) interests in an open and transparent marketplace.
