Definitive Test for Buprenorphine

Nevada rates for HCPCS 80348

A laboratory test that confirms whether buprenorphine — a medicine used to treat opioid dependence and, in some forms, pain — and its breakdown products are present in a sample, and can measure how much. Unlike a rapid screening cup, it identifies the specific substance rather than flagging a broad group. Results are used to check that a prescribed medicine is being taken as intended or to look into an unexpected screening result.
