An add-on service for continued hands-on critical care given by a clinician who is physically present with a critically ill or injured infant or young child while they are being transported between medical facilities, covering each additional block of time beyond the initial period already provided. It reflects ongoing life-sustaining treatment and close monitoring given during the transport itself, not time spent afterward. It applies only to children age two and under.
