Small sensors are attached to the scalp to record the brain's electrical activity over a long stretch, and this covers one further block of that recording, roughly a day at a time. Video is not part of it. A trained technologist looks in on the recording at intervals through the block to keep the sensors and equipment working and to write up what the tracing shows; a doctor's reading of the recording is a separate service.
