Lung Artery Dye Study During Heart Catheterization

Injects contrast dye into the arteries of the lungs during a heart catheter procedure and takes moving X-ray pictures of them, together with the interpretation and written report. The pictures show blood flow through the lung arteries and can reveal a clot, a narrowing or an abnormal connection. It is performed as part of the catheter procedure already under way and billed in addition to it.
