Opening A Long-Blocked Heart Artery

Delaware rates for HCPCS 92943

Reopens a heart artery, one of its branches, or an old bypass graft that has been completely blocked for a long time. Working through a catheter from the wrist or groin, the doctor crosses the blockage and restores flow using a balloon, a stent, or a device that shaves or drills through the hardened material. One blocked vessel is treated; a further blocked vessel opened in the same session is billed separately.
