Additional Vertical Sensors For Balance Testing

New Mexico rates for HCPCS 92547

During a test that measures eye movements to evaluate balance and inner-ear function, extra sensors positioned to detect up-and-down eye movement are used in addition to the standard side-to-side sensors. This provides a more complete picture of how the eyes move in response to balance-related stimulation. It is billed in addition to the main balance evaluation, not as a stand-alone test.
