Fitting of a Large Corneoscleral Contact Lens

Kansas rates for HCPCS 92313

Prescribing and fitting a contact lens wider than a standard one, resting partly on the white of the eye rather than only on the cornea. The doctor works out the shape and optical properties the eye needs, fits the lens, and supervises the patient through the process of getting used to wearing it. It may be fitted for one eye or for both.
