Takes detailed photographs of the front structures of the eye after a fluorescent dye is injected into a vein in the arm. As the dye travels through the small blood vessels of the iris and surrounding tissue, the camera captures how it fills and whether it leaks, which reveals abnormal vessels, inflammation, or poor circulation at the front of the eye. The images are reviewed and a written interpretation is provided.
