This is an eye imaging test that uses two different dyes, injected into a vein, to photograph the blood vessels inside the eye during the same visit. One dye highlights the blood vessels near the retina's surface, while the other, which travels differently through the bloodstream, highlights vessels in a deeper layer beneath the retina. Combining both in one session gives a fuller picture of circulation problems, such as abnormal or leaking blood vessels, than either dye alone.
