A seasonal influenza vaccine given as a shot into a muscle, usually in the upper arm. It is reformulated each year to match the flu strains expected to circulate, and is given to lower the chance of catching flu and of becoming seriously ill from it. The charge covers the vaccine itself; giving the shot is charged separately.
