Liquid-Based Pap Test

Vermont rates for HCPCS 88143

A screening test for cervical cancer. Cells brushed from the cervix are rinsed into a vial of preservative liquid, then spread as a thin layer on a slide and examined under a microscope for abnormal or precancerous changes.
