Vermont rates for HCPCS 84300

This test measures the amount of sodium excreted in a urine sample. It helps clinicians evaluate the cause of an abnormal blood sodium level, assess hydration and salt balance, or check dietary salt intake. It is often ordered together with a blood sodium measurement for a more complete picture.
