Blood Chloride Test

Maryland rates for HCPCS 82435

Measures chloride, one of the salts dissolved in the blood that helps hold the body's fluid balance and acidity steady. It is almost always interpreted alongside sodium, potassium and bicarbonate rather than on its own. Abnormal results point to dehydration, fluid overload, kidney problems, or a disturbance in the body's acid balance.
