Urine Calcium Test

New Mexico rates for HCPCS 82340

This laboratory test measures the amount of calcium in a urine sample, usually collected over a set period of time. Clinicians use it to check how well calcium is being processed by the body, which can help evaluate bone health, parathyroid gland function, or the risk of forming kidney stones. It is a chemical measurement rather than an imaging study.
