Nuclear Vein Scan for Clot, One Side

Nebraska rates for HCPCS 78457

A nuclear scan of the veins of one limb, done by injecting a tracer into a vein and following it with a camera as it travels back toward the heart. Places where the tracer is held up or diverted into surface veins suggest a clot blocking the deep veins. Only one side is examined.
