Contrast Imaging Of Both Adrenal Gland Arteries

South Dakota rates for HCPCS 75733

This imaging study uses a contrast dye and X-ray to examine the small arteries that supply blood to both adrenal glands, the small hormone-producing glands that sit atop each kidney. A thin catheter is guided into position to inject dye directly into these vessels for detailed imaging. It is used to evaluate the blood supply of the adrenal glands, often as part of investigating a suspected adrenal gland problem.
