Contrast X-ray Of The Chest Aorta With Rapid Imaging

North Dakota rates for HCPCS 75605

This imaging study uses contrast dye injected into the main artery in the chest along with a rapid series of X-ray images to capture how blood flows through the vessel. It is used to evaluate the aorta for problems such as an aneurysm, a bulging weak spot, narrowing, or a tear in the vessel wall. The rapid imaging captures the dye moving through the vessel over a brief span of time rather than a single still picture.
