X-ray Guided Enema For Bowel Blockage Reduction

An x-ray guided procedure in which air or liquid contrast is introduced through the rectum to help push a section of bowel back into its normal position. It is most often used to treat intussusception, a condition where part of the intestine telescopes into an adjoining section and causes a blockage, most common in young children.
