CT Scan Of The Mid-Back Spine, Before And After Contrast

Delaware rates for HCPCS 72130

A CT scanner takes detailed cross-sectional images of the mid-back (thoracic) portion of the spine, first without contrast dye and then again after contrast dye is injected into a vein, giving a more complete picture than either scan alone. It can help evaluate the vertebrae, discs, and surrounding structures in that part of the spine.
