CT Scan of the Neck Spine, With and Without Contrast

Vermont rates for HCPCS 72127

This is a CT scan of the spine in the neck, performed first without contrast dye and then again after contrast is given through an IV, in the same visit. Taking both sets of images can help distinguish certain structures, such as blood vessels or areas of inflammation, more clearly than either set of images alone.
