Rebuilding The Pocket Behind The Eyelid

Vermont rates for HCPCS 68328

Rebuilds the cul-de-sac, the deep pocket where the lining of the eyelid folds back onto the eyeball, using grafted tissue when scarring has shrunk or obliterated it. Restoring the pocket lets the eyelid move freely and allows an artificial eye or contact shell to be held in place. It is used after burns, severe inflammation, or injury.
