Removal of Ingrown Eyelashes by Plucking

Vermont rates for HCPCS 67820

A provider removes eyelashes that are growing inward toward the eye, a condition called trichiasis, by plucking them out individually with forceps. Ingrown lashes can rub against the surface of the eye and cause irritation, redness, or a feeling of something in the eye. This method physically removes the problem lashes rather than using another technique like freezing or laser.
