Eye Muscle Surgery for a Squint

Vermont rates for HCPCS 67314

Corrects eyes that do not point in the same direction by adjusting the pull of a muscle that moves the eye up and down. The muscle is either shortened, or detached and reattached further back on the eyeball, which changes how strongly it turns the eye. The work is done through the thin clear membrane over the white of the eye, and the eyeball is not taken out of its socket.
