Surgical Opening In The Iris For Glaucoma

Wyoming rates for HCPCS 66625

Through a small incision at the edge of the cornea, a piece of the iris — the colored part of the eye — is removed to create an opening that lets fluid inside the eye flow freely again. Restoring the flow lowers the pressure that damages the optic nerve. It is used when fluid is trapped behind the iris.
