Revision of an Eye Drainage Implant With Graft

Vermont rates for HCPCS 66185

Repairs or repositions a glaucoma drainage implant — the small tube and plate placed to let fluid escape from the eye and keep pressure down — when it has shifted, blocked, or begun to erode. A patch of donor tissue is laid over the tube so it does not wear through the surface of the eye. It is done to keep the drainage working and protect the eye.
