Later Placement of an Implant in the Eye Socket

North Dakota rates for HCPCS 65140

A rounded implant is placed into the eye socket at a separate, later operation, after the eye itself has already been removed, to restore the volume the eye used to fill. The implant sits deep in the socket, covered by the socket lining, and supports the thin artificial eye that is fitted over the front.
