Cable Nerve Graft In The Hand Or Foot

Washington, DC rates for HCPCS 64896

Repairs a damaged nerve in the hand or foot by bridging the gap with several strands of nerve taken from elsewhere in the patient's own body and bundled together like a cable. Multiple strands are used because the nerve being repaired is too thick for a single strand to fill. This version is for a longer gap, where the cut ends are too far apart to be stitched together directly.
