Repair Of An Additional Major Nerve In The Same Surgery

Michigan rates for HCPCS 64859

This procedure surgically reconnects the two ends of a cut or damaged major nerve in an arm or leg, and applies when more than one major nerve needs repair during the same operation. It is performed in addition to the repair of the first nerve. Careful, precise suturing under magnification is used to align the nerve ends as closely as possible to support healing.
