Burying a Cut Nerve End Into Bone or Muscle

Vermont rates for HCPCS 64787

After a painful nerve bundle has been removed, the cut end of the nerve is tucked into nearby bone or muscle and anchored there. Burying the end shields it from pressure and movement and makes it far less likely to form another painful lump. It is billed in addition to the main procedure.
