Revision or Removal of Nerve Stimulator Battery

Vermont rates for HCPCS 64595

An implanted pulse generator or receiver that powers a nerve stimulator is repositioned, repaired or taken out through an incision over the pocket where it sits under the skin. This is done when the device has failed, moved, become uncomfortable or is no longer needed. Only the generator or receiver is addressed, not the wires running to the nerve.
