Repair Of Small Spinal Fluid Sac Defect

Oregon rates for HCPCS 63700

Closes a fluid-filled sac that pushes out through a gap in the back of the spine. The sac is formed by the coverings of the spinal cord and the fluid within them; it is opened, the excess covering is trimmed, and the layers of covering, muscle, and skin are closed over the spinal canal. This is the operation for a smaller defect.
