Continuous Epidural Medicine In Neck Or Upper Back

Vermont rates for HCPCS 62325

A fine tube is threaded into the epidural space — the layer just outside the covering of the spinal cord — at the level of the neck or the upper back. Numbing medicine or steroid is then given through that tube, either as a steady infusion or as repeated doses, rather than as a single injection. It is used to control pain in the neck, shoulder, chest or upper back.
