Breaking Up Scar Tissue Around Spinal Nerves

Rhode Island rates for HCPCS 62263

A catheter is guided into the epidural space around the spinal nerves and used, together with injected solutions, to break down scar tissue that is tethering the nerves. Imaging is used to position the catheter and to confirm where the solution spreads. It is used for persistent back and leg pain caused by scarring, often after earlier spine surgery.
