Treatment of one more difficult target inside the head during a session of stereotactic radiosurgery, in which tightly focused radiation beams are aimed at a target without any cutting. A target counts as difficult when it sits close to sensitive structures or its size and shape call for far more elaborate planning. It is billed in addition to the main treatment when several such targets are handled in one session.
