Drill Hole In The Skull To Drain A Blood Collection

West Virginia rates for HCPCS 61108

Makes one or more small drill holes through the skull so that a collection of blood lying between the brain and its covering can be drained out. Relieving that pressure eases headache, confusion, drowsiness, and weakness caused by blood pressing on the brain. A thin drainage tube is often left in place for a short time afterwards.
