Uterine Evacuation for Molar Pregnancy

This procedure empties and cleans out the uterus using gentle suction and a scraping instrument, performed to remove an abnormal mass of pregnancy-related tissue known as a molar pregnancy. A molar pregnancy grows in place of a normal pregnancy and needs to be completely removed to prevent complications. The tissue removed is sent to a laboratory for examination to confirm the diagnosis and guide any follow-up care.
