This covers the complete package of pregnancy care for a vaginal delivery in a patient who has previously had a cesarean delivery, including care throughout the pregnancy, the delivery itself, and the recovery period afterward. It reflects the additional monitoring and planning involved in attempting a vaginal birth after a prior cesarean. It includes an episiotomy or the use of forceps if either becomes necessary.
