Cervical Stitch During Pregnancy

Wyoming rates for HCPCS 59320

Places a strong stitch around the cervix during pregnancy to hold it closed when it is weak and at risk of opening too early. It is put in through the vagina, so no abdominal incision is needed, and it is taken out later in the pregnancy or when labor starts. The aim is to reduce the chance of a very early birth or a late miscarriage.
