Keyhole Removal of Ovary or Fallopian Tube

Vermont rates for HCPCS 58661

Removes an ovary, a fallopian tube, or both, through a few small cuts in the abdomen using a camera on a thin tube and long instruments. Part or all of the structure can be taken, depending on what is found, and the tissue is drawn out through one of the small openings. It is done for problems such as a cyst, a growth, a damaged tube, or to reduce future risk.
