Vaginal Suspension for Prolapse

Vermont rates for HCPCS 57283

Lifts the top of the vagina back into its normal position and anchors it to strong internal supporting tissue in the pelvis, working through the vagina rather than through the abdomen. It is used when the top of the vagina has dropped — commonly after the uterus was removed — causing a bulge, dragging pressure, or difficulty emptying the bladder or bowel. Re-anchoring the vault restores its support.
