Repair Of A Hydrocele Around The Testicle

Utah rates for HCPCS 55060

Treats a hydrocele — a build-up of clear fluid in the sac surrounding the testicle — by opening the sac, draining the fluid and turning the sac inside out and stitching it so fluid cannot collect there again. The testicle itself stays in place. It is done through a small incision in the scrotum or groin.
