Removes a lump or cyst from the epididymis, the coiled tube sitting behind and above the testicle that stores and carries sperm. The scrotum is opened, the lump is separated from the surrounding tube, and the rest of the epididymis and the testicle are left in place. It is done for a lump that is painful, growing, or needs to be identified.
