Removes every part of a multi-piece inflatable penile implant, meaning the cylinders, the pump, and the fluid reservoir, from tissue that has become infected, washes out all the infected tissue, and puts a new device in during the same operation. Doing both in one sitting avoids a long gap without an implant and the scarring that builds up while the space is empty. It is chosen when the surrounding tissue is healthy enough to accept a new device straight away.
