Abdominal Pressure Measurement During Bladder Testing

Vermont rates for HCPCS 51797

An additional measurement taken during bladder function testing that records pressure inside the abdomen, using a small sensor placed in the rectum or, less commonly, the stomach. This helps separate true bladder pressure from pressure caused by straining or abdominal muscle activity, giving a more accurate picture of bladder function.
