Ureter Stent Placed Through The Skin, With Drain

Vermont rates for HCPCS 50695

A stent is threaded from the skin through the kidney and down the ureter into the bladder, so urine can drain past a blockage. The passage into the kidney is created during the same session, and a separate drainage tube is also left running out through the skin. Imaging guides each step, and pictures of the kidney and ureter are taken as needed.
