Ureter Stent Placed Through An Existing Kidney Drain

Places a stent - a soft hollow tube that keeps the ureter open - running from the kidney down to the bladder, working through a drainage channel already present in the back. Contrast dye and imaging are used to map the ureter and guide the stent into position.
