Removal Of An Internal Ureter Stent Through The Skin

Takes out a stent sitting inside the ureter by reaching it through a small puncture in the skin over the kidney and catching it with a snare, guided by X-ray. The stent is then drawn out along the same track. It is used when the stent cannot be, or is not being, removed through the bladder.
