An existing feeding tube that enters the small intestine through the skin of the abdomen is exchanged for a new one. The tube is swapped over a guide wire using live X-ray, contrast dye is injected to confirm the new tube sits correctly, and images are saved and reported. No incision or scope is needed and it is usually a short outpatient visit.
